THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band foi uma banda de rock escocesa formada em Glasgow em 1972. Liderada por Alex Harvey acompanhado por Zal Cleminson na guitarra, o baixista Chris Glen, o tecladista Hugh McKenna (28 de novembro de 1949–18 de dezembro de 2019) e o baterista Ted McKenna, sua música era uma mistura de blues rock e hard rock, com elementos de cabaré. Suas apresentações no palco incorporavam elementos teatrais. A banda era popular na Europa continental e influente na Austrália, principalmente no AC/DC (particularmente seu vocalista Bon Scott) e no jovem Nick Cave e sua primeira banda The Boys Next Door.
