EPICA

Epica é uma banda holandesa de metal sinfônico formada em 2002 na cidade de Reuver, Limburgo pelo guitarrista e vocalista Mark Jansen.
Após sua saída do grupo de metal sinfônico After Forever em 2002, Jansen decidiu fundar sua própria banda, que inicialmente se chamava Sahara Dust. A formação original contava ainda com a ex-vocalista do Trail of Tears, Helena Iren Michaelsen. No entanto, houve algumas mudanças na formação e Helena foi substituída pela mezzo-soprano Simone Simons. Wikipedia
