Blotted Science é um supergrupo instrumental de metal progressivo liderado por Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower, Spastic Ink), o baixista Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse) e o baterista Hannes Grossmann (ex-Obscura, ex-Necrophagist). Eles se formaram sob o nome de Machinations of Dementia, mas depois mudaram seu nome para Blotted Science (Machinations of Dementia seria o título de seu primeiro álbum à venda publicamente).
