IAN GILLAN
Ian Gillan (Chiswick, 19 de agosto de 1945) é um cantor e compositor britânico. Inicialmente influenciado por Elvis Presley, fundou e liderou diversos grupos locais em meados da década de 1960 e, eventualmente, reuniu-se com o Episode Six, quando o vocalista original saíra dele. Alcançou o reconhecimento comercial pela primeira vez após entrar no Deep Purple em 1969. Em julho de 1973, o cantor demitiu-se da banda, tendo comunicado antecipadamente aos empresários dela. Depois de um breve período distante da música, retomou a sua carreira com dois projetos solos, antes de juntar-se ao Black Sabbath em 1983. No ano seguinte, o Deep Purple reunira sua segunda formação e, posteriormente, lançou três novos álbuns, antes do Ian deixá-lo em 1989. Retornou ao grupo em 1992 e permanece nele desde então.
