LES CLAYPOOL
Leslie Edward Claypool (nascido em 29 de setembro de 1963) é um músico americano, mais conhecido como fundador, vocalista, baixista, compositor principal e único membro contínuo da banda de funk metal Primus. Seu estilo de tocar no baixo é bem conhecido por misturar tapping, dedilhar flamenco, curvas de barra whammy e slapping. Fora do Primus, Claypool também esteve envolvido em vários projetos paralelos, incluindo os supergrupos Oysterhead ao lado de Trey Anastasio (Phish) e Stewart Copeland (The Police), e Bucket of Bernie Brains do coronel Claypool (C2B3), ao lado de Buckethead, Bryan Mantia (Primus) e Bernie Worrell (P-Funk). Ele também liderou os projetos de rock experimental Frog Brigade e Fancy Band. Ele também produziu e projetou vários lançamentos solo de seu próprio estúdio, Rancho Relaxo. Em 2006, um longa-metragem, Electric Apricot, escrito e dirigido por Claypool, foi lançado, assim como seu romance de estreia, South of the Pumphouse.
