MERCYFUL FATE

Mercyful Fate é uma banda de heavy metal formada na cidade de Copenhague, Dinamarca, em 1981, durante a nova onda do metal britânico. Inicialmente composta pelo vocalista King Diamond, os guitarristas Hank Shermann e Michael Denner, o baixista Timi Hansen e o baterista Kim Ruzz. A banda é citada entre as principais influências do black metal, thrash metal, power metal e metal progressivo. As músicas são caracterizadas por estruturas complexas, virtuose nas guitarras e falsetes altíssimos executados pelo vocalista King Diamond.  Wikipedia
