RENAISSANCE

Renaissance é uma banda inglesa de rock progressivo, mais conhecida por seu hit no top 10 do Reino Unido de 1978 “Northern Lights” e clássicos do rock progressivo como “Carpet of the Sun”, “Mother Russia” e “Ashes Are Burning”. Eles desenvolveram um som único, combinando um vocal feminino com uma fusão de influências clássicas, folk, rock e jazz. Elementos característicos do som renascentista são o amplo alcance vocal de Annie Haslam, acompanhamento de piano proeminente, arranjos orquestrais, harmonias vocais, violão, baixo, sintetizador e trabalho de bateria versátil.
