The Cars foi uma banda de rock americana formada em Boston em 1977. Emergindo da cena new wave no final dos anos 1970, consistia em Elliot Easton (guitarra), Greg Hawkes (teclados), Ric Ocasek (guitarra rítmica), Benjamin Orr ( baixo) e David Robinson (bateria).
