THE PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The Presidents of the United States of America (ocasionalmente chamados de PUSA, PotUSA, the Presidents of the USA ou simplesmente the Presidents) foi uma banda de rock americana formada em Seattle, Washington, em 1993. A formação inicial do grupo de três integrantes consistia no vocalista e baixista Chris Ballew, no baterista Jason Finn e no guitarrista Dave Dederer. A banda se tornou popular em meados da década de 1990 por seus sucessos “Lump” e “Peaches” — lançados em 1995 e 1996, respectivamente — que ajudaram seu álbum de estreia autointitulado a ganhar triplo disco de platina.
