Turisas é uma banda finlandesa de folk metal sinfônico fundada em 1997 pelo vocalista Mathias Nygård e o guitarrista Jussi Wickström. Seu nome oriunda de um monstro marinho da mitologia finlandesa, algumas vezes considerado um deus da guerra. Wikipedia
