YNGWIE MALMSTEEN
Yngwie Malmsteen, nome artístico de Lars Johan Yngve Lannerbäck, (Estocolmo, 30 de junho de 1963) é um virtuoso guitarrista sueco, considerado um dos melhores de seu estilo. Influenciado pela música barroca de Bach e Vivaldi, Malmsteen é conhecido por ser um dos precursores do chamado metal neoclássico, que envolve heavy metal com elementos de música clássica. Junto ao tecladista Jens Johansson, também tornou-se um dos pioneiros do power metal, com a temática fantástica de suas letras e com os sons orquestrais criando a atmosférica épica das canções. Seguindo estes estilos, ele ajudou a popularizar o guitar shredding dentro do heavy metal em geral e veio a ser um dos guitarristas mais influentes do metal.
